Based out of Kelowna, Canada, bex writes Alternative Indie-Folk songs with introspective heart and spirited lyric. Her live stage presence and vocal technique is an intuitive synthesis of powerful tenderness. bex often flows between genres, making her live performance charmingly eclectic and unpredictable.

 

Growing up in the Jewel of the Okanagan, Oyama, much of her inspiration is drawn from a time and place that feels like an wise old friend. bex channel's her professional life, as a trauma therapist, into her art, leaning into both the glimmers and shadows of humanity. These experiences have helped her to make connections with her audience that feel expansive and meaningful. Through her story telling, she helps you find a place that feels like a return to home.

bex' musical inspirations include Lisa Hannigan, Bess Atwell, Noah Gundersen, Fink and Adam Duritz; musicians that have all influenced her own songwriting journey.

She has warmed up the stage for Polaris Prize and Juno nominated Danny Michel and as well as The Pack A.D.
